Convenient stay with a central location, welcoming staff, and practical amenities.
Location: Fantastic, central location with easy access to cafes, restaurants, and public transportation—everything is within walking distance. Staff: Friendly and helpful, they kindly stored our luggage after check-out, allowing us to explore the city until it was time to head to the airport. Amenities: The Wi-Fi was reliable, the 24-hour reception is convenient as we had a late check-in, and the beds were comfortable for a restful sleep. There was also a vending machine with water and snacks, which was a handy option for quick refreshments.
Room: The room is very tight, with limited space for suitcases. We had two small 10kg suitcases, and even that was a squeeze; there’s only one suitcase rack, so larger luggage would be challenging to manage. Soundproofing: The room allowed a lot of noise through. We could clearly hear other guests showering, using the restroom, and talking, which impacted privacy. Reception Availability: Although the hotel has 24-hour reception, I had an issue trying to call the front desk after midnight. The phone system informed me that reception was closed, which was unexpected and inconvenient, especially since 24-hour service is a key amenity. Bathroom: While the shower was clean, the fixtures are dated, with some broken ceramic tiles and black spots on the grout. The bathroom hangers were also loose, causing towels and clothes to slip to the floor.

OK, but price is a little on the high side
- excellent hotel location, close to all the major objectives - very good breakfast - hot water and heating (we stayed in December)
- hotel has no parking, but we received directions to park somewhere close (10.000 forint per day) - bed linen had some blood spots on it; it was washed before we arrived, the spots were old, but still... - room walls were dirty - bathroom shower cabin could have been cleaner, especially the windows
